We sat down with Alexis to learn more about her experiences as a GLP-1 user and with DermaReverse™, our newly released, groundbreaking skincare solution specifically designed for GLP-1 users.
Hi Alexis! Thank you for being here with us today. Can you start by telling us a little bit about your journey with a GLP-1 medication—what led you to it and what has the experience been like?
I have been on a weight loss journey for some time. I needed assistance getting additional weight off 4 1/2 years after weight loss surgery and hitting a plateau. So far, my experience with Mounjaro has been wonderful. It was the push I needed to get me over the hump to help with further weight loss.
What were some of the changes you noticed in your skin once you started the medication?
I noticed that my face was starting to look a bit sunken in especially under my eyes and my smile lines had become more visible. My skin was not as plump as it once was and also seemed a bit on the duller side.
Were you aware that GLP-1 medications could affect your skin before you started treatment, or before you began noticing changes to your skin?
I did hear of "Ozempic Face" but I didn't think it would happen to me due to my age (I’m 34).
Did these changes impact your confidence or how you felt about your skin?
Yes, it is a very frustrating experience when you change your lifestyle and put in a lot of work to have and maintain a healthy lifestyle and you are left with excess skin or issues with your skin that feel outside of your control unless you get surgery.
When you joined our clinical trial and began using DermaReverse™, what were your first impressions when you started using our GLP-1 skincare solution?
I immediately noticed how well my skin absorbed the product.
A few weeks into the DermaReverse™ trial, did you notice any changes in your skin?
Yes, my skin felt firmer and plump, almost "juicy" you could say. I noticed a reduction in my smile lines.
What do you like about DermaReverse™?
I love the texture and quality of the product. It absorbs into my skin so nicely, my face feels amazing every time I use it.
Since using DermaReverse™, has anyone commented on your skin? If so, what did they say?
Yes, my close ones have commented on how nice my skin looks. I have no blemishes and my skin looks overall healthy and glowy.

I would tell them to get this product immediately and they will not be disappointed!
What is your current skincare routine?
I am currently using Dr. Few products including the exfoliating face wash, DermaReverse, the Eye Cream with SPF, the Moisture Complete Sheer, and the Tinted Mineral SPF.
What’s one skincare or self-care ritual you never skip?
I never skip SPF!
